Melania Trump told Fox News’ Ainsley Earhardt that the Clintons “are asking for” her husband to attack Bill Clinton’s sexual indiscretions during Wednesday’s third and final presidential debate.

“Is it fair for the media to bring up Bill Clinton’s past or for Donald Trump to bring up Bill Clinton’s past?” Earhardt asked Trump in a preview of the interview that Fox aired on Monday.

“Well, if they bring up my past, why not?” Trump responded. “They’re asking for it. They started from the beginning of the campaign putting my — my picture from my modeling days.”

“That was my modeling days, and I’m proud of what I did,” she continued. “I worked very hard.”

The former model also addressed the recent sexual assault allegations raised against her husband.

“Those words, they were offensive to me and they were inappropriate, and he apologized to me,” Trump explained. “I accept his apology, and we are moving on.”

Trump stated that the man portrayed in the leaked Access Hollywood tape “is not the man [she knows].”

“As I always said — as my husband said as well — for a successful businessman, entrepreneur, entertainer to achieving so much in his life, being in so many shows, so many tapes, it’s very hard to run for public office, and he did this anyway.” Trump stated. “He said, I want to help American people. I want to keep America safe. I want to bring back jobs, bring back economy, so our children, our futures will be the best way possible.”

Melania Trump’s full interview with Earhardt will air during Fox News’ Tuesday broadcast of “Fox & Friends.”
