This week’s first-year algebra teacher busted for traumatizing a 16-year-old male student with a couple months of sex and beer pong right there in her fiancé’s apartment is Alaina Ferguson.
Ferguson, 23, was — until just recently — a math teacher at Plano Senior High School amid the suburbs of Dallas. She was arrested last week.
Ferguson’s two-month teaching career was short but filled with excitement, according to a police affidavit obtained by Dallas Fox affiliate KDFW.
After she started teaching at Plano High on August 22, Ferguson almost immediately began her frolic with the unidentified 16-year-old student. Then, she quit her job in October.
Did the torrid, two-month teacher-sex student fling include naked selfies? You bet it did, police say.
“The way it happened is he wrote his Snapchat name on a test and turned it in,” a Plano High School student, Andy Flores, told CBS Dallas.
The student’s Snapchat move proved to be hugely successful. Romantic social correspondence soon began.
The next thing that happened, police say, is that the lovebirds consummated their lust at an apartment in nearby McKinney, Texas.
The apartment belonged to Ferguson’s fiancé, police say. He was out of town at the time.
In the ensuing weeks, Ferguson and her 16-year-old math student proceeded to have a whole bunch of sex in the apartment belonging to Ferguson’s fiancé, the police affidavit states.
Some of the encounters at the apartment included a pre-sex game of beer pong, presumably to get the mood right, police say.
There was allegedly sex on a park bench over in Lewisville as well.
In November, police say, there was a bout of sex in the student’s pickup truck after a football game.
“She knew it was not the right thing to do, but it felt right at the time,” the affidavit explains, according to KDFW. “She was going to break it off with her fiancé because she didn’t feel anything with him.”
Reports indicate that Ferguson has, in fact, called off her wedding.
Flores, the Plano High student interviewed by CBS Dallas, said the local scuttlebutt is that the student who had the affair with Ferguson didn’t exactly try to keep it a secret.
“I heard the kid was just talking about it to his friends and I guess a teacher or a student over heard it,” Flores told the station.
“She’s kind of good looking,” Flores also observed of Ferguson.
A second student, Samuel Balderrama, noted that Plano High is bringing in a lot of twentysomething teachers these days.
“It’s just more young teachers than older teachers,” Balderrama told CBS Dallas.
After her arrest on sexual assault charges, Ferguson was released on a $100,000 bond. Conditions of her bond include a complete prohibition from Internet usage.
