President-elect Donald Trump said he will be the “greatest jobs producer that God ever created” during a press conference Wednesday morning.
Trump took credit for creating an environment that will bring jobs to the U.S. through negotiations with global business leaders who will do “tremendous things in this country” for jobs.
“There is a great spirit going on right now, a spirit that many people have told me they had never seen, ever. I’m going to create jobs. I said that I will be the greatest jobs producer that God ever created. And I mean that, I’m going to work very hard on that,” Trump said.
Trump met with Jack Ma, CEO of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba, Monday at Trump Tower. “We had a great meeting, and a great, great entrepreneur, one of the best in the world, and he loves this country, and he loves China.” Trump told reporters after the meeting. “Jack and I are going to do some great things.”
Business leaders are “going to do tremendous things in this country,” he said. If Trump hadn’t been elected and hadn’t met with leaders like Ma, they “would be building and doing things in other countries.” (RELATED: Major Chinese Firm Wants To Create A ‘Million’ US Jobs With Trump’s Help)
