Rep. Ted Poe harshly criticized his former Freedom Caucus peers during a Monday morning interview on CNN.
Speaking to host Alisyn Camerota, the Texas Republican said he holds “the opinion that there are some members of the Freedom Caucus, they’d vote no against the Ten Commandments if it came up for a vote.”

“It was easier to vote no,” Poe fumed. “I’m angry about that. I think it’s time we lead and not vote no on every bill that comes forward to the House.”
“It’s not a perfect bill, but it’s a start, moving us in a different direction to have more input into healthcare… there were some good things in it. No, it was not perfect, but I was going to say yes.”
