Donald Trump spoke with astronauts aboard the International Space Station Monday morning.
After congratulating her on breaking the record for consecutive days spent in space by an American astronaut, POTUS asked Peggy Whitson what specifically we are learning from keeping her up there for so long.
Whitson explained that life on the ISS is helping scientists better gauge how life on Mars would differ from life on Earth, which apparently includes finding creative ways to find sources of water.

“It’s really not as bad as it sounds,” Whitson added after explaining to Trump they “clean up [their] urine and make it drinkable.”
“That’s great,” Trump answered with a sly grin on his face. “Better you than me.”
