Debating whether or not female athletes can compete with men is all the rage these days, and one of the greatest ever was when people thought Ronda Rousey could fight men.
Rousey, similar to Serena Williams, was the greatest female athlete her sport had ever seen. She had made millions destroying her UFC opponents in a matter of seconds. She became a hero in the sports world with a meteoric rise.
Then something very strange began to happen. People started to believe that the UFC champion wasn’t just the best woman on the planet, but could also easily handle male fighters. Even UFC president Dana White went as far to go on the record and say she would “rag-doll” legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather.

You know what happened next? She got obliterated in back-to-back fights against women.
First, she got lit up by Holly Holm.
She followed up that disappointing performance by getting nearly murdered by Amanda Nunes.
Rousey was one of the greatest fighters to ever live, and she couldn’t even go undefeated against her own gender. These debates across gender line are getting out of control.
