A 10-year-old boy from Florida was arrested for allegedly stealing a car in what was his fourth arrest in just six weeks.

Prior to the latest act of thievery, the fourth-grader cut off his police-sanctioned ankle monitor, according to The Daytona Beach News-Journal Thursday.

He was caught with boys ages 15 to 16, something Capt. Jennifer Krosschell of the Daytona Beach Police Department said was unusual since older teenagers don’t usually fraternize with kids so young.

“He even looks like a 10-year-old,” Krosschell told The Daytona Beach News-Journal. “When we (seized) the car he had stolen, the driver’s seat was pushed up to the steering wheel.”

The purposefully unidentified 10 year old apparently has a sense of swagger to him despite being caught so many times in such a short time span.

“He has a look-at-me attitude,” Sgt. Tim Ehrenkaufer said, according to The Daytona Beach News-Journal. “He’s flashy.”

The extremely youthful suspect was arrested Tuesday for a separate car theft. But it only took him six or so hours to engage in more criminal behavior. There are four total related incidences linked to this specific adolescent.

A Florida man in his 20s disguised himself as an elderly person in May to steal thousands of dollars from two separate banks. He was later caught and arrested.

Another man from Florida, 45, was accused in February of driving off with a $150,000 sports car during the middle of a test drive. The alleged thief was reportedly able to convince the salesman to get out of the car at one point so they could find his girlfriend to show the car to. He was also caught just two miles from the location the car went missing.
