Two months after Kathy Griffin sparked outrage for sharing a photo of herself holding a bloody, decapitated head made to look like Donald Trump’s, the comedian is back in the news.

This time it’s her head that everyone is talking about.
Photos of the disgraced comedian surfaced on social media on Monday after Griffin shaved her head, apparently in support of her sister who is battling cancer, People reports.

Griffin’s mother, Maggie, shared the photo in which she’s sitting beside Kathy with a look of shock on her face. “My daughter Kathleen Mary is a wonderful human being,” the elder Griffin said in the tweet. In the other photo, Griffin is clutching her bald head with a smile on her face.

It’s not clear what kind of cancer Griffin’s sister is battling with, but it’s interesting that Griffin’s mother applauded her for shaving her head with no mention of her other daughter in the tweet.
This isn’t the first time one of Griffin’s siblings have struggled with cancer. Griffin’s brother Gary passed away in 2014 after battling esophageal cancer for over two years, according to People.
