It’s been a symbol of hatred since World War II. But before the swastika became the symbol of the Nazi party, it had a long history throughout almost all of human existence. One company, KA Designs, is trying to bring the symbol back into the mainstream.
In a video posted to its Facebook page, KA Designs said, “They stigmatized the swastika, they won, they limited our freedom, or maybe not? The swastika is coming back.”
The company released shirts that appear to be a cross between the Nazi symbol and the gay pride flag.
On the company’s Teespring.com website, it offered several designs of shirts with the swastika emblazoned on it.
The Anti-Defamation League was quick to denounce the shirts.
This is an offensive use of #Nazi imagery. Fashion can’t reclaim this symbol from #hate: https://t.co/URTrUTfGRe

The shirts appear to have been removed from the company’s website and replaced with similar shirts with the swastika crossed out.
KA Designs’ Facebook page lists its motto as “Questioning Boundaries.”
