We have our first major game of the college football season tonight, and I couldn’t be more excited.
The second-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes are headed to Bloomington, Indiana to take on the Hoosiers under the lights on ESPN. We had a soft opening slate of games over last weekend, but none of them were powerhouse games.
I wouldn’t even describe this as a power game, but it’s our first game that football fans should be tuning in to watch. OSU is a national title contender and Indiana is a very worthy opponent for the first game of the season.
Naturally, the internet is already fired up for the first real game of the season.
This game is not war. But like war, it can teach valuable lessons.
This is the season of ownership. And it begins Thursday.#BeatIU #GoBucks pic.twitter.com/8KqTb9DiUC— Ohio State Football (@OhioStateFB) August 28, 2017

This is going to be absolutely electric. The Buckeyes are 20.5 favorites, but Hoosiers have never had a sold out home crowd like they’re going to have for tonight. A close friend of mine is a Hoosiers fan and went to Indiana. That guy might be willing to trade his life for a win tonight. I have no doubt there are many Indiana fans would make the same selfless sacrifice for a victory tonight.
Can you imagine the headlines tomorrow if Indiana comes out and shocks the world? I doubt Indiana can win, but I think this game will be very close.
The whole country will be watching, the stadium will be packed, the Buckeyes might be a little overconfident and Indiana has never had a bigger game. If you’re a football fan you need to be watching tonight to find out what happens.
