Kid Rock dropped another hint that he’s considering running for senate Thursday with a post on Twitter about the “political revolution” coming soon.
“The 2018 Political Revolution is nearing… #ThursdayThoughts,” the 46-year-old singer — whose real name is Robert James Ritchie — tweeted to his thousands of followers. (RELATED: Kid Rock For US Senate In 2018?)

His name has began circulating as a possible Republican candidate to challenge Michigan Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow.
The rocker has been mostly silent this month, after dropping several hints on his website and social media that he was thinking about running for Senate. He has yet to make any official announcement.

A poll released at the end of July showed the rocker with a lead in the Republican primary and performing well against Stabenow.
Stabenow won her seat in 2000 and held off Republican challengers in 2006 and 2012.
