Authorities dragged a woman off a Southwest Airlines plane Tuesday after she notified the crew of an alleged life-threatening pet allergy.
An unidentified woman informed the crew that she had a deadly pet allergy, and asked for all animals to be immediately removed from a Los Angeles bound flight, according to NBC News. The airline reported that one pet and one service animal were currently on the plane, and refused to remove the animals.
The woman then asked for an injection to alleviate her alleged allergic symptoms; however, she did not have proper medical documentation to receive treatment. She then refused to get off the plane to seek treatment for her alleged allergies, and authorities forcibly removed her.
“You ripped my pants off,” the woman yelled as law enforcement dragged her off the plane.

Southwest Airlines later apologized for the incident, saying that it would be in touch with her shortly, according to The Sacramento Bee.
“Our policy states that a Customer (without a medical certificate) may be denied boarding if they report a life-threatening allergic reaction and cannot travel safely with an animal on board. Our Flight Crew made repeated attempts to explain the situation to the Customer, however, she refused to deplane and law enforcement became involved,” a Southwest Airlines spokesman said in a statement.
