Former Green Bay Packers player Tom Crabtree fired off several tweets Sunday night targeting New England Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett.
Bennett was released from the Packers after claiming he had a serious shoulder injury, but somehow miraculously recovered in only a couple days to play for the Patriots Sunday night. He also trashed the Packers medical staff for the way the situation was handled.
Crabtree was not impressed by Bennett’s actions and unleashed on him.
How Bennett is a liar and a fraud. https://t.co/qQs6FnTau7

If you ever thought a team/front office/coach gave a shit about a player’s character, see the Patriots letting the fraud @MartysaurusRex suit up and play tonight. Quit and lied in Green Bay days ago, now signed and playing in New England.

Why does calling out a liar and a fraud like @MartysaurusRex mean I’m mad? I’m stating #facts here.
He lied and contradicted himself with his own words and actions.
Very simple.
Just bringing it to light.#awareness https://t.co/E9nOKTbjFh— Tom Crabtree (@itsCrab) November 13, 2017
The only people who know the whole truth are Bennett and the Packers management. Everybody else’s opinion is based on second-hand reports. But it is pretty hard to believe the idea Bennett was somehow too hurt to play for the Packers, but was just fine for the Patriots a few days later. That doesn’t make sense at all.
It really looks like Bennett believes that the Packers are done without Rodgers, and the Patriots are steaming toward another deep playoff run. I don’t blame Bennett for trying to chase a ring, but it’s really unprofessional to handle it this way if that’s how it went down.
