ISIS is reportedly beheading its own fighters in the eastern sector of Afghanistan.

According to Attaullah Khogyani, a spokesman for the provincial governor of Nangarhar, 15 ISIS insurgents had their heads chopped off because of internal disputes in the terrorist organization.

ISIS terrorists have consistently beheaded enemy combatants and prisoners of war, sometimes recording the punishment on video and posting it on the internet.

Khogyani explained that the terrorists were killed in Surkh Ab bazaaar in Nangarhar, a section of Afghanistan that borders Pakistan and remains a focus of ISIS activity.

The violence in Afghanistan this week was not limited to executions. On Thursday, a suicide bomber killed at least eight people in Jalalabad, the provincial capitol of Nangarhar.

Although ISIS continues to lose territory to U.S. and allied advances, it remains a terrorist threat throughout the Middle East and especially Afghanstan.
