The Philadelphia Eagles got some bad news Monday when it was confirmed that star quarterback Carson Wentz tore his ACL, and is done for the year.
The news broke around noon that the feared gunslinger’s season was done.
MRI showed that Eagles’ QB and NFL MVP candidate Carson Wentz did tear his ACL. Wentz is our for season.

You absolutely hate to see something like this happen. Wentz is one of the coolest and most down to earth guys in all of pro sports, and now his season is over. The worst part for Philly is that they looked like a legit Super Bowl team.
He had them running like a well oiled tank. They were unstoppable, but now they’ll probably struggle to win a single playoff game.
This is just another classic example of sports being a roller coaster of emotions that at one moment takes you from the highest of highs to the lowest of lows. Hopefully he bounces back quickly next year.
