Another trailer for the upcoming Will Smith Netflix movie “Bright” was released Tuesday morning.
The plot of the show, according to Netflix, is, “Set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been co-existing since the beginning of time. Brightis genre-bending action movie that follows two cops from very different backgrounds. Ward (Will Smith) and Jakoby (Joel Edgerton), embark on a routine patrol night and encounter a darkness that will ultimately alter the future and their world as they know it.”
I’ve been hyping this movie up ever since I saw the first preview. Have we ever seen something like this before in film history? I don’t think so. It’s like a cross between “Harry Potter” and “Training Day.”
The film looks like a 10 year old boy wrote the plot, and that’s a big compliment. “Bright” also looks like the latest proof that Netflix just keeps cranking home runs like it’s no big deal.
You can check this movie out when it’s released Dec. 22.
