Prince Harry of the U.K. is under intense pressure from the British government not to invite former President Barack Obama to his royal wedding out of fear of angering President Donald Trump, U.K. media reports.

Trump is not expected to be invited to the wedding and the government fear’s his predecessor’s presence at the royal wedding would be perceived as a snub. “Harry has made it clear he wants the Obamas at the wedding, so it’s causing a lot of nervousness,” a British government official told The Sun, adding “If the PM lays down the law, Harry will just have to suck it up.”

Harry has reportedly struck up a bit of a friendship with the Obama family and even interviewed him for his first presidential sit-down since leaving office. The prince dodged the question of Obama’s attendance at his wedding during a Wednesday BBC interview, saying, “We haven’t put the invites or the guest list together yet so who knows whether he’s going to be invited or not. I wouldn’t want to ruin that surprise.”

Harry and his celebrity fiance Meghan Markle are slated to be married on May 19.
