President Donald Trump is expected to deliver a nearly hour-long State of the Union address Tuesday in an attempt to strike a largely bipartisan but forceful tone.

“This is our New American Moment. There has never been a better time to start living the American dream,” the president will declare, according to White House excerpts. (RELATED: Watch TheDC’s Livestream Of Trump’s State Of The Union)

Trump will echo his administration’s long message the economy under the president has boomed and that ISIS is nearly destroyed. He will ask Congress to take up his newly introduced plan to curtail U.S. immigration in exchange for a permanent DACA program.

“Struggling communities, especially immigrant communities, will also be helped by immigration policies that focus on the best interests of American Workers and American Families,” the president will say.

“Just as I promised the American People from this podium 11 months ago, we enacted the biggest tax cuts and reform in American history,” the president is set to triumphantly declare, touting his major legislative victory while in office.

The president’s secondary legislative ask of the Congress will for be a major infrastructure package to the tune of nearly a trillion dollars. “I am asking both parties to come together to give us the safe, fast, reliable, and modern infrastructure our economy needs and our people deserve,” he will say.

Trump will close with a call for bipartisanship.
