It’s Tuesday, and I’ve already thrown more money than I know what to do with at March Madness brackets.
For the past decade I’ve competed in a big money pool with my dad. I’m talking enough cash to be buying out strip clubs if you’re winning. You all know I’m a humble guy, who hates to brag. However, I want to be crystal clear here. I clean up come March Madness, especially in that pool.
Last year I made more money gambling on college basketball over a couple months than I did from actually working a job. It’s hard to believe, but it’s shockingly true. March Madness is like a daily Super Bowl for me, but it takes place over the course of several weeks.
I just couldn’t resist opening up the old wallet and throwing down some money. Here are my picks that I put some cash on. Take them or leave them. I’m not claiming I’m an expert. I’m just saying I’ve made some serious coin.
I’m taking Virginia, Duke and Michigan State all with the big money. Come April, there is either going to be a lot of celebrating with all my winnings, or we’re all headed down a deep and dark path of depression. Either way, it’s going to be interesting!
