Disney Celebrates Gay Pride Month With Rainbow Mickey Ears

The Happiest Place On Earth just threw its ears into the political dogfight.

Disney just started selling rainbow Mickey ears in honor of Pride Month (June), however it looks like the US parks started selling the merchandise early.

The ears will retail for $17.99 and have appeared at both parks in the US. (RELATED: Kendall Jenner Just Said Some Pretty Saucy Things About Being Gay)

But not everyone’s too pumped about Disney’s decision to go rainbow. And as it turns out, it’s not social conservatives making the biggest deal about it. Full-throated gay rights activists are upset at Disney because it’s not being inclusive enough, apparently.

Feminist and LGBTQ activism site Pink Nation achieved peak woke-ness after it wrote a story complaining that Disney’s Mickey pride ears are still entrenched in the patriarchy.

The article, titled “Disney, We Don’t Need Rainbow Mickey Ears – We Need You To Stop Erasing Us From Blockbusters,” accuses Disney of sexism and homophobia for failing to include gay characters in their major films.

Which is utter fabrication because Disney’s “Beauty And The Beast” made a splash in 2017 allegedly included a gay character. It also shouldn’t really come as a concern to the average Disney viewer who still poops their pants and has no idea what hetero or homosexuality is.
