A University of Alabama student was arrested Tuesday after allegedly pulling down a woman’s pants and stealing another woman’s underwear.

Police arrested John Everett Threadgill, 19, after he allegedly pulled down the pants of a female jogger to sexually assault her, according to Fox News. The woman called Tuscaloosa police after claiming that Threadgill came up behind her and attempted to pull down her pants Monday, WBRC reported. The woman struggled to get away and Threadgill ended up escaping.

Threadgill also allegedly broke into a nearby woman’s home and stole underwear Tuesday. The teen was allegedly chased out of the house around 12:30 a.m. Police tracked down Threadgill in a vehicle with the stolen underwear and pulled him over around 2:30 a.m.

Police took Threadgill into custody where he admitted to attempting to sexually assault the woman and the burglary. The student is barred from entering University of Alabama’s campus.

Threadgill is held on a $45,000 bond at Tuscaloosa County Jail. Police are investigating separate incidents where women allege that the student attacked them.
