Last week, the first lady’s spokeswoman said that Trump was “doing well and remains in good spirits” following the surgery.

“No new updates except she’s doing well and remains in good spirits,” Stephanie Grisham, the first lady’s communications director, told The Daily Caller.

“A sincere thank you to Walter Reed Medical Unit @WRBethesda & to all who have send good wishes & prayers! I am feeling great & look forward to getting back home @WhiteHouse soon,” Trump captioned her post on Instagram from the hospital, along with a photo that read simply “Thank You.”
