The Morning Joe team and Mika Brzezinski continued their attacks on the president today over his tweets yesterday in which he called the media’s coverage of the first lady’s recovery from surgery “unfair.”
President Trump tweeted that the media “reported everything from near death, to facelift, to left the W.H. (and me) for N.Y. or Virginia, to abuse” about his wife and first lady Melania.
The Fake News Media has been so unfair, and vicious, to my wife and our great First Lady, Melania. During her recovery from surgery they reported everything from near death, to facelift, to left the W.H. (and me) for N.Y. or Virginia, to abuse. All Fake, she is doing really well!

Their sarcastic comments came in response to a tweet the president posted in January of 2017 that read, “I heard poorly rated Morning Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then low come low-IQ Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago three nights in a row around New Year’s Eve and insisted on joining me? She was bleeding badly from a facelift. I said no!”

Scarborough asked sarcastically, “Who in the world would be so cruel, so hateful? Who would be so despicable, who would be so utterly lacking in character, to suggest, to — to make something up about someone having a facelift for the sole purposes of trying to damage or humiliate them?” (RELATED: Morning Joe Still Bitter Over Trump’s Comments About Mika’s Facelift)
He then added, “Yes, you would have to be utterly despicable, a classless man, to say that about a woman.”
I agree that it would be “vicious” and “unfair” to lie about a loved one having a facelift for the purpose of causing pain and embarrassment. Mr. President, can you imagine anyone would be so cruel to do such a thing? https://t.co/zfqjt1LKw2

Elise Jordan, former George W. Bush White House aide, chimed in, “Just a petty low form of life.”
“Total scumbag. You’d have to be just grotesque,” John Heilemann agreed. “You’d have to be the most repulsive, disgraceful, ridiculous, asinine person in the world.”
