There’s no goodbye for the head of CNN anytime soon, as Jeff Zucker reportedly signed a new contract to stay on with the network through the 2020 election cycle.
In light of the AT&T, Time-Warner merger, Zucker is set to stay on with CNN, even though there will be personnel shuffles within various companies under the acquisition. According to Vanity Fair Wednesday, Zucker signed to head CNN throughout the 2020 election a few months ago.
The drama between CNN and President Trump is ever-present, as the White House feuds with CNN reporters and the president himself has repeatedly called the network “fake news.” (RELATED: Sarah Sanders Goes After Cuomo: ‘I’m Starting To Regret Sitting Here’)
Trump has regularly tweeted his disdain for the broadcast news network, calling them “Fake News CNN”:
So funny to watch the Fake News, especially NBC and CNN. They are fighting hard to downplay the deal with North Korea. 500 days ago they would have “begged” for this deal-looked like war would break out. Our Country’s biggest enemy is the Fake News so easily promulgated by fools!

CNN’S slogan is CNN, THE MOST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS. Everyone knows this is not true, that this could, in fact, be a fraud on the American Public. There are many outlets that are far more trusted than Fake News CNN. Their slogan should be CNN, THE LEAST TRUSTED NAME IN NEWS!
