Chaffetz, Kennedy Get Into Fiery Debate Over Immigration

Fox News contributors Jason Chaffetz and Lisa Kennedy got into a heated exchange Monday debating America’s border policy.

Lead host Harris Faulkner asked Chaffetz, “What do we do with the children already here?”

The former congressman responded, “That’s a very difficult question…First of all, you’ve got to vet them.”

Kennedy, now snickering, responded, “I’m sure the mini rapists all have bombs strapped to their chests.”

Chaffetz, having spent a great deal of time working on this issue during his tenure in Washington, slammed Kennedy’s remark. “You are so naïve, I can’t believe it. There is so much human trafficking coming across there…You have to understand who they are first,” he said. (RELATED: Democratic Rep. Kennedy was unconvinced by this argument, telling Chaffetz, “The government has not proven that they’re good at vetting. They have not put a policy into place yet.”
