MoveOn, the American Civil Liberties Union and other liberal organizations are planning a “mass mobilization” effort against immigrant family separation on June 30, said Democratic Washington Rep. Pramila Jayapal on MSNBC Monday.

“The end game is really to say this is about Trump,” Jayapal said on “All In with Chris Hayes.” “Look, he would love to make this about … Democrats. He would love to make this about legislation that has to be passed. He would love to make this about both sides, as Melania Trump said. It is not. It is about Donald Trump reversing this policy.”

“Donald Trump and his administration are cruelly separating children from their families,” reads the event page on MoveOn’s website. “But we won’t allow it to continue. … Trump and his administration have been systematically criminalizing immigration and immigrants, from revoking Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) to ramping up intimidating ICE tactics. ”

The Families Belong Together protests are planned for Washington, D.C., and more than 100 other locations across the country. (RELATED: The Trump Admin’s Enforcement Of Family Separation Makes Sense Without An Immigration Fix)

Democratic leaders are already tweeting with the #FamiliesBelongTogether hashtag. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi tweeted that “ripping children from their parents at the border is a stain on our nation” along with #FamiliesBelongTogether on Tuesday. Pelosi had also used the hashtag along with a tweet calling for the resignation of Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen because of the family separation policy on Monday.

The main Families Belong Together rally will be at Lafayette Square in Washington, D.C., beginning at 11 a.m. on June 30, reported The Huffington Post.
