The New York Times released a fact check on Wednesday claiming that Democrats don’t want open borders, and Twitter users immediately called them out.
NYT specifically fact-checked President Donald Trump’s claim that Democrats want open borders, rating it “false” because Democrats have previously voted for immigration bills that address border security.

After NYT tweeted the fact check out, Twitter users ganged up on them and pointed out the number of Democrats, including Democratic National Committee deputy chair Keith Ellison, calling for open borders.
