Police in Washington, D.C., responded to an active shooter situation at MedStar Washington Hospital Thursday morning.
Police received a call around 10:19 a.m. regarding an active shooter, according to WUSA9. However, a spokesperson for the hospital told reporters that they don’t believe there is an in active shooter. The hospital confirmed a person who was upset with his doctor, verbally threatened an employee and the police were called.

The hospital was reportedly on lockdown for a few hours according to News4. Police told Fox 5, there was no signs of a shooting or a shooter.

Authorities said an all-clear signal was given at the hospital after officials confirmed there was no active shooter threat.
