Fox Business’s Stuart Varney predicted America will experience a “generational low” in unemployment under President Donald Trump on “Fox & Friends” Friday.

“The economy is booming,” the “Varney & Co.” host said. “I think we are going to see roughly 200,000 new jobs. That’s quite a strong performance. I think we may see the unemployment rate tick down to 3.8 percent. That will be a generational low. But perhaps more importantly, I think we are going to see wages tick up … That’s a very good sign for middle America.”

Varney’s jobs prediction was spot on, as the numbers were released shortly after he made his assertion. It was announced that 201,000 new jobs had been added in the month of August, according to the Department of Labor. (RELATED: Stuart Varney Credits Trump With America’s Recent Economic Growth)

Varney also came close with his unemployment rate prediction and was only off by .1 percent. The actual unemployment rate remained steady at 3.9 percent.

“I’m pretty sure you’re going to see a lot of those people who are currently on the sidelines come into the labor force. Big deal,” Varney added. “As far as our economy is concerned and our stock market, we are the only game in town. All the way around the world, economies are stagnating and markets are falling.”
