As if Elon Musk doesn’t have enough on his plate — pour him a stiff glass of tequila while he’s at it.

Musk purportedly filed a trademark application for a new tequila company, aptly called Tesla-quila. TMZ points out that this all started as an April Fool’s joke after Elon Musk joked that his company was going bankrupt after he was found “passed out against a Tesla Model 3, surrounded by ‘Teslaquilla’ bottles.”

And while his joke caused the company’s stock to drop around 5 percent the next trading day, Musk is betting the joke could prove to be lucrative in the long-run.
He confirmed the news Friday.
“Teslaquila coming soon…” he wrote, accompanied by a mock photo of a potential label.
