Week 6 of the NFL season is here.
Thursday and Sunday were action-packed, filled with upsets, terrible dancing and a few tears over in London. The lineup of best moments from Week 6 of the NFL season is here. In case you missed them, The Smoke Room has you covered:
Kicking off the week with a bang, Philly restored order in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and everything seemed right for a moment:
NFL has to be rooting for #Eagles vs. Chiefs in the Super Bowl, right?
** Mahomes vs. Wentz
** Wentz coming back from ACL after missing last year
** Doug vs. Andy Reid
** Reid looking for 1st Super Bowl vs. former team— Eliot Shorr-Parks (@EliotShorrParks) October 15, 2018
It looks like the Giants will wind up with another top pick that *should* enable them to draft Eli’s successor. But don’t let anyone tell you that was the “plan.” They thought they could win this year. Total miscalculation.

The Chargers MIGHT be heating up with three wins in a row:
Melvin Gordon just had an eight yard run late in the third quarter, and it brought the Chargers’ average yards per carry down.
Ridiculous.

Good news for Jets fans:
The New York Giants front office didn’t think Sam Darnold was worth a top pick. The Jets have now scored over 40 twice and over 30 three times in six games. That’s w marginal offensive talent & a defensive head coach.

This season has turned into everything a Jet fan could have hoped for: 3-3 and the development of a franchise QB.

The Raiders are cool in the sense that they can embarrass themselves both in the United States and abroad:

Fan 1: “2 pints before, 4 pints at the game, 2 pints after. Probably leave the stadium at 9.30”
Fan 2: “9.30? But I thought an NFL game was an hour?”

Cam Newton can run, but the Redskins didn’t let him hide:

Le’Veon Bell who?
Through his first six games of 2018, James Conner has scored more fantasy points (141) than Le’Veon Bell (124.60) had through his first six games in 2017.

Jerry Jones is kind of a poet:
Is Jerry Jones OK with Dak Prescott running the ball 11 times in a game? “I am. Yes, I am. I’d rather see him running like that and sliding than getting chipped and nipped away at the ankles and the sacks that come in with what’s in that pocket. I’m fine with that.”
— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) October 15, 2018
And although the Chiefs look promising, Bill Belichick reminded them who their daddy is:

“Sunday Night Football” might have been beautiful, but with the Packers meeting the 49ers in 3- degree weather at Lambeau Field on Monday, it may be a little less pretty end to Week 6.
