Rock band Guns N’ Roses cut its concert short Sunday in Dubai after lead singer Axl Rose fell “severely ill,” according to bandmate guitarist, Slash.

The 56-year-old singer told the audience before the show at the Du Arena in the United Arab Emirates capital that he had been sick for hours — even throwing up — in a video ahead of the concert, according to Entertainment Weekly Monday.

Rose also explained he didn’t want to cancel and tried to power through. But only got through 17 of the group’s typical 28 song set before the show was cut. (RELATED: Guns N’ Roses Invites Mexico City Fans to Smash Trump Piñata Onstage [VIDEO])

“They’ve got me on IVs and a bunch of injections, ’cause I got sick today,” the “November Rain” hitmaker shared, according to a video shared by a fan. “I’ve been throwing up for about the last five hours. So, instead of canceling I’m gonna do the best show we can do for you.”

Guitarist Slash shared with fans after the show that frontman Rose was “severely ill.”

“Abu Dhabi, you guys were fucking great tonight! Axl was severely ill. But you all were hugely supportive. Thanks for that. We’ll see again next time! Cheers! iiii]; ),” the 53-year-old guitarist–born Saul Hudson–tweeted to his millions of followers.

Fellow bandmate bassist, Duff McKagan, praised Rose for making through as far as he did.

“Axl Rose pulled a damn miracle,” McKagan wrote on social media.  “The man was beyond ill, and pulled off something I’ve never seen in my 40 years of playing.”

The group is currently on its “Not in This Lifetime” tour, which wraps up in Hawaii next month.
