The fight between Rachael Ostovich and Paige VanZant is back on, and will take place as scheduled Jan. 19.

Ostovich had pulled out of the fight due to injuries to her face, which were blamed on her husband who allegedly brutally beat her. According to TMZ, a second medical opinion on Ostovich’s injuries resulted in her being cleared. (SLIDESHOW: These UFC Women Really Hate Wearing Clothes)

VanZant confirmed the news late Tuesday on Instagram, and wrote, “FIGHT STILL ON!!!!! I couldn’t be more grateful to @rachaelostovich Yes we are going to war with each other in the cage, but I stand by her side with her ongoing battle at home. Let’s put on a fight and show these people how strong we are. #GirlPower #UFC.” (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Sexiest Paige VanZant Photos On The Internet)

What an absolutely wild roller coaster of a situation. The fight was off just yesterday, Tuesday morning, and now Ostovich is back in. (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Greatest Ronda Rousey Photos On The Internet)

Her injuries must not be terrible because there’s no way the UFC would allow her into an octagon if she was in a very delicate state, even nearly two months out.

The fans just can’t wait for this showdown between VanZant and Ostovich. It’ll usher in the UFC era on ESPN, and getting somebody like Paige VanZant involved and on the card was a genius decision.

As for Ostovich’s husband Arnold Berdon, he has been charged with attempted murder and has claimed he only acted in self-defense.
