If you would like to attend Saturday’s SEC Championship game in Atlanta, it’s going to cost you a fortune.
In fact, a pair of tickets to this weekend’s national championship game rematch costs more than every other conference championship game combined. (RELATED: Oklahoma Players Could Be Penalized For Absurd Reason Against Texas. Is Freedom Dead?)
This weekend’s Alabama-Georgia rematch is the most anticipated game of the season. According to ESPN’s Peter Burns, a pair of SEC Championship tickets costs nearly five times as much as its closest competitor.
Price of a pair of tickets for Conference Championship games:
SEC: $540
Big 12: $122
Big 10: $98
ACC: $74
Pac-12: $28Via @StubHub

When you’re the best league in the country, people are going to pay to see your product, and the SEC puts out the best product year after year, despite what Big Ten fanboy David Hookstead would have you believe.
After all, I don’t think anybody in their right mind would rather watch Northwestern over a rematch of the greatest national championship game of all time.
That’s why the SEC is the best conference in the country, while the Big Ten will fail to get a team in the college football playoff for the second consecutive year.
