The Kardashian-Jenner sisters are making some changes in the new year, one of which involves having their official apps go dark in 2019.
“We’ve had an incredible experience connecting with all of you through our apps these past few years but have made the difficult decision to no longer continue updating in 2019,” a Wednesday statement from the sisters to E! “We truly hope you’ve enjoyed this journey as much as we have, and we look forward to what’s ahead,” the statement concluded.
The reality television stars will follow in the footsteps of their sister, Victoria’s Secret model Kendall Jenner, who announced around this time last year that she was shutting down her app. (SLIDESHOW: Kendall Jenner Loves Going Braless)

Their apps launched in 2015 and, for $2.99, followers got access to exclusive news, photos, videos and tips from the celebrities on things like beauty, health and fitness.
It all comes on the heels of rumors that Kylie and her sister Khloe lobbied to get their brother Rob Kardshian and Blac Chyna’s reality show off the air. She even reportedly threatened that either her brother’s show got taken off or “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” would go.
“I feel very strongly about canceling Season 2 for ‘Rob & Chyna,'” Kylie’s 2016 email to Khloé and two others reportedly read. “The only reason Chyna wants to be with my brother is for this show. She does not love Rob and their relationship is too fake and destructive.”

“The show is giving this toxic woman [the] money and exposure she lives and breathes for and by continuing it. She will proceed with using and physically abusing my brother … Her association is detrimental to our family and ‘Keeping Up [With] The Kardashians,'” she reportedly added.
This follows a report that Season 15 of the series experienced its all-time ratings low, with the season finale seeing a drop of 37 percent from its premiere, which scored 1.3 million viewers on Aug. 5.
