The Wisconsin Badgers continued to keep their momentum up Wednesday night with a 72-60 win over Illinois.
For all of you who follow college basketball, you know that my beloved Badgers are cruising after beating Michigan this past Saturday.
Well, they continued their winning ways in a tough fought victory over Illinois. Was it pretty? Hell no. In fact, Ethan Happ really struggled at times, and we weren’t where I wanted us to be. Still, a win is a win, and that’s what we got last night. You can watch all the highlights below.
We’re now 13-6 with 12 regular season games remaining. That means we’re in prime position for the tournament and a great seed.
We win eight of our remaining 12, and we’ll be rolling by March. We had an awful skid earlier in the year. It looked like we were bound for another bad season.
Yet, we persevered to get to where we are right now.
Are we where we need to be when the train finally stops for the season? No, but we’re heading in the correct direction. At this point in time, I’ll take it.
