Wisconsin fullback Alec Ingold lit a guy up during the Senior Bowl Saturday.

Ingold caught Stanford linebacker Bobby Okereke by surprise during a rushing play and lowered the boom on him. It’s one of the most brutal football hits that I’ve seen in a long time.

Watch it below, and prepare to go wild.

That hit is just wild. It’s the Senior Bowl, and Ingold is just out there trying to take his opponent’s head off.

That’s just some old-school football. That’s the kind of brutality on the gridiron that will have NFL general managers salivating. (RELATED: NFL Draft Prospect Drew Lock Asked About Cheating On A Test In High School During Interview)

Fullbacks don’t really exist anymore in the NFL because the styles of offenses have changed so much. It’s kind of a shame, but I really do think somebody will scoop up Ingold on draft day or in free agency.

Why wouldn’t you want a guy willing to throw those shots on the field with you? I think Ingold’s got a solid future ahead of him, and that should make NFL defenses very concerned.
