Colorado Avalanche star Gabriel Landeskog scored an incredible goal late Monday night against the Sharks to keep his team alive.

Game six of the NHL playoffs series went into overtime, and the Swedish-born left winger got the puck after a quick steal from a team. (RELATED: San Jose Sharks Star Joe Pavelski Suffers Horrifying Head Injury)

Before the puck found itself in the back of the net before the goalie had any idea what had even happened. Watch the awesome moment below.

It doesn’t get much better than that goal right there, and now the Sharks and Avalanche will play in game seven.

Anybody who knows anything knows about sports knows “game seven” are the two sweetest words a fan can ever hear. It’s what people dream about as little kids, and Landeskog pushed the series in epic fashion.

I have no dog in this fight, and I really don’t care who wins game seven. What I do hope for is some great puck and intense hockey.

Thanks to Landeskog, the Avalanche and Sharks will give the fans the opportunity to enjoy a game seven.
