Denim Richards won’t be leaving “Yellowstone” anytime soon.

According to Deadline, Richards, who plays ranch hand Colby on the hit Paramount Network show, will be a regular in season three.

That means unless we’re going to get a ton of flashbacks of Colby in season three, the man will be alive when the credits roll on season two. (RELATED: ‘Yellowstone‘ Season 2, Episode 2 Is Solid With ‘New Beginnings’)

This is a great development for the hit show with Kevin Costner. Colby is one of the main ranch hands, and he’s down to ride with everybody in the bunkhouse.

More importantly, his presence means the bunkhouse crew is likely going to be back in large part in season three. If that’s true, then the Duttons won’t have lost their ranch by the end of season two.

If that doesn’t get you juiced, then I don’t know what to tell you.

It’s pretty simple. If the Duttons lose the ranch, then there’s no purpose for any of the wranglers like Colby.

The only purpose to keep them in the show and elevate their roles is if the Dutton family is going to hang on through season two and into season three at a minimum.

My guess is we’ll hear more and more tidbits as season two carries onward and returns July 10 for the third episode.

With all the more info we get, I only get more and more excited. Let’s get after it “Yellowstone” fans. It’s going to be a very fun time.
