A new trailer has dropped for the upcoming movie “News of the World” with Tom Hanks, and it looks awesome.
The plot of the film, according to the trailer’s YouTube description, is, “A Texan traveling across the Wild West agrees to help rescue a young girl who has been kidnapped.” (REVIEW: ‘Westworld’ Season 3 Ends With The Possible Deaths Of Multiple Characters)
Obviously, that doesn’t provide us with a ton of details. What I can tell you from watching the trailer is that it looks like Hanks has another major hit on his hands. Give it a watch below.
I can feel it in my bones that his movie is going to be legit. It’s Tom Hanks helping out a young girl who has been kidnapped.
Folks, what more even needs to be said? This has award winner written all over it.
When it comes to moving the needle and making hits, very few men over the past 50 years can hold a light to Tom Hanks.
All he does is make movies that people love. Whether it’s “Forrest Gump” or “Saving Private Ryan,” the dude doesn’t have the ability to make a bad movie.
Now, he’s bringing us “News of the World” starting Christmas Day.
