Don’t expect “Westworld” season four to start in the near future.

I found myself randomly wondering when the fourth season of the hit HBO show will start, and I started looking for answers online. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)

The unfortunate reality of the situation is that nobody knows when season four is going to drop, but the general consensus seems to be that it won’t be until 2022.

We Got This Covered reported that sources close to the show indicated that it’s not showing up before 2022, and seeing as how we have next to no info, I would guess that’s a very safe bet.

Now, the good news is that cameras do appear to be rolling. Jeffrey Wright, who plays Bernard, posted an Instagram photo back in June that appeared to indicate he was back on set.

It’s not much to go off of, but it’s better than nothing.

At this point, we’ve all just gotten used to dealing with shows not showing up for a long time thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Yellowstone” isn’t returning until the fall, and “Westworld,” “Ozark” and “Stranger Things” aren’t returning until 2022.

Not exactly fun to wait that long, but as I’ve said many times, it will be if the product is great.

The first season of “Westworld” was right up there with season one of “True Detective,” season two was also great but there was a drop off in season three.

We need the Man in Black back being a badass. That’s when “Westworld” is at its finest.

Hopefully, that’s what we return to in season four. We’ll certainly have plenty of time to sit around and debate it because 2022 isn’t very close.
