“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin admitted Monday that Republican Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker “over-performed” during his debate against Democratic Sen. Raphael Warnock.

Walker and Warnock participated in a fiery debate in Savannah on Friday over the Democratic candidate’s support for President Joe Biden and the several accusations levied against Walker.

“He did so much better than I thought he did that I think he gave votes,” Hostin said. “And I’m not talking about Warnock, I’m talking about Walker. I mean, my father said, ‘Maybe he doesn’t have CTE [Chronic traumatic encephalopathy].’ That was one of the first things that my father thought and listening to the way he was able to discuss issues … it felt that way. I mean, we watched it and left thinking Warnock underperformed and that Walker over performed.”

Co-host Sara Haines immediately pushed back by arguing that Walker has lost credibility from all the accusations against him, notably the allegation that he paid for his ex-girlfriend’s abortion in 2009. (RELATED: Warnock, Walker Clash Over Support For Joe Biden, Scandals)

“My guess is that you had some pretty low standards for him,” Haines said.

“We did, but I still have to say that trying to tie Warnock to Biden’s low approval was pretty smart. He looked like he had been prepped really well and ultimately we’ve got all of these voting restrictions in Georgia. It’s going to make it very difficult for people to vote.”

Co-host Ana Navarro interjected by criticizing Walker’s performance at the debate by mainly pointing to his alleged lies. She pointed to Walker admitting that he signed the $700 check that allegedly paid for the abortion in a newly released interview with NBC News chief White House correspondent Kristen Welker.

“He didn’t have a coherent thought, he couldn’t complete his sentences, and he was lying again,” Navarro said.

“He did lie,” Hostin replied. “He did lie often.”

“I don’t know what else people need to understand to see that the man is a liar,” Navarro added. “And if you want to lie in Congress, okay.”

The Daily Beast obtained and published the check, a $575 abortion clinic receipt and a “get well” card allegedly signed by him as evidence that he allegedly paid for the abortion. Walker has repeatedly denied these allegations and threatened to sue the Daily Beast for the report.
