A train ride derailment occurred at a Branson, Missouri, theme park Wednesday evening, according to a statement from the park.
The Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train, an attraction at the Silver Dollar City theme park, experienced the derailment, according to the statement posted to Twitter.
Paramedics at the park responded to the incident before first responders eventually arrived, the park wrote in the statement. Ambulances transported six guests and a theme park employee to nearby medical facilities.
The Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train is a ride with a normal length of 20 minutes, designed to take guests on a tour of the land surrounding Silver Dollar City, according to the park’s official website.

The initial stage of an investigation into the derailment, which involved interviews and an overview of the incident scene, concluded Thursday, according to a statement from the Missouri Division of Fire Safety’s Twitter account. The cause of the incident has yet to be identified, and the investigation will continue with the aid of an engineering firm.
“We went around the next corner and the car in front of me acted like it hit a bump and started shaking real bad.
