A man has reportedly been trespassing at Kelly Clarkson’s Los Angeles-area home and leaving her gifts.

For the past month, the same man has been appearing and dropping off cards, plants, and other random items on Clarkson’s porch, law enforcement sources told TMZ in a piece published Monday. Clarkson has since filed a police report, according to TMZ. (RELATED: REPORT: Famous Singer Jack Johnson Takes Legal Action Against Alleged Female Stalker)

Clarkson has never met the intruder and does not know who he is, sources told TMZ. Her security has taken the man’s actions seriously enough to get the Los Angeles Police Department involved. The LAPD doesn’t know if he is an innocuous fan or someone who has sinister plans.

Authorities are using surveillance footage from Clarkson’s home to try to identify the man and run a background check. Once the LAPD determines the man’s identity, they will decide whether to make an arrest, get a restraining order or involve mental health services.

Clarkson, along with Dolly Parton, surprised “The Kelly Clarkson Show” audience Friday with Parton’s iconic song “9 to 5.” Over 40 years since the song’s creation, the two singers teamed up to recreate the song as part of Parton’s documentary, “Still Working 9 to 5.”

“Nobody sings like Kelly Clarkson,” Parton said in a press release. “She makes any song come alive.”
