If you’ve ever wondered how to properly pick your nose, this is how.

Appearing on Barstool Sports’ “The Dozen Trivia Competition” on Tuesday, NHL legend Paul Bissonnette — who goes by the nickname “Biz Nasty” — picked his nose for a total of 35 seconds like only a true legend can.

If you don’t know who Bissonnette is, he played in the NHL from 2008-2017, suiting up for the Pittsburgh Penguins and Arizona Coyotes. Now, he works with NHL on TNT as a studio analyst as well as a color analyst for Arizona Coyotes radio. For Barstool Sports, he co-hosts the “Spittin’ Chiclets” podcast with former NHL defenseman Ryan Whitney. (RELATED: Chaos Erupts After NHL Refs Call Off 3 Goals)

In the clip, Bissonette takes a quick break to chime in on the podcast, but mostly he just lets everyone else talk while he devotes his attention to some good old nasal prospecting. On four separate occasions, he pulls his hand out of his nose, but each time he comes back for more.

I can’t even lie, I was in the exact same position as Bissonnette not even that long ago, so I know how he’s feeling here. See, there’s times when you have a booger lodged up your nose and you have a hard time getting it out, so you just have to start digging like you’ve been cast for “Holes 2.” I don’t know if it’s because the booger is stuck to your nose or if it’s just a sensation that happens from time to time — I’m sure a lot of you know what I’m talking about.

And if I’m wrong, at least an NHL legend feels my pain, because that’s exactly what happened here.

Hey, there’s nothing to be embarrassed about. Sometimes you just need a good dig.
