Horrifying footage from inside the cabin of a plane that crashed Sunday in Nepal was released Tuesday.

The Yeti Airline flight was carrying 68 passengers and 4 crew members when it crashed on its path from Kathmandu to Pokhara in central Nepal. The cause of the crash remains unknown, but an explosion was reportedly heard over the city in the moments before the plane hit the ground.

CNN released a Facebook Live video Tuesday showing the moments before the crash. The outlet noted it had corroborated the authenticity of the video based on geolocation, a flight manifest and by having friends verify the identity of the passenger who recorded the video.

The footage shows the plane flying over what appears to be a city, potentially Pokhara, before panic ensues. CNN edited the footage before they released it so the identities of those recorded in the video could remain anonymous. The outlet also chose to cut the moment of the crash, seconds after everything seemed to be going fine inside the plane. WARNING GRAPHIC: The full video was shared on social media, and it’s incredibly heartbreaking to watch. The video, taken by a young man, shows him smiling and laughing with his fellow passengers before the camera starts to shake violently and the cabin erupts in screams.

The final seconds of the video show red and yellow flames engulfing the cabin and the phone that was used to film the video. Daylight can be seen among what appears to be wreckage and trees.
