Video footage of the shooting captured the chaos as students ran for cover. The broadcasters managed a final announcement to fans before ducking to take cover under their table.

After several moments they peered over the table, seemingly in a state of confusion as they assessed the chaos. Students with worried faces can be seen running in front of the camera in a desperate attempt to flee the gym.

Local authorities are investigating both the inside and the outside of the gym as they attempt to establish a motive for the shooting. Meanwhile, school officials have suggested that the shooting stemmed from a fight, according to KOCO ABC 5 News.
