A Wisconsin woman charged with first-degree intentional homicide and mutilating a corpse attacked her lawyer during a court hearing Tuesday after a judge agreed to delay her trial.
Taylor Schabusiness, 25, attacked her lawyer, Quinn Jolly, when the judge agreed to postpone her trial pending the completion of a psychiatric evaluation to determine whether Schabusiness is competent to stand trial, Fox 11 reported.

Schabusiness stands accused of murdering, sexually abusing and mutilating Shad Thyrion, 25, in the early morning Feb 23, 2022, Fox 11 reported. Police were responding to a criminal complaint when they reportedly found Thyrion’s severed head in a bucket located in the basement of the home, according to Fox 11.
Schabusiness admitted to police that she and Thyrion were using drugs and engaging in sexual play in which choking was involved, according to the criminal complaint. Schabusiness told police “she just went crazy,” strangling Thyrion, sexually molesting him, and then dismembering his body, the complaint stated. (RELATED: 21-Year-Old Found Decapitated At Home)
She has pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect, Fox 11 reported.
Judge Thomas Walsh was reportedly reluctant to agree to the postponement, but as the competency review had not been completed, Jolly moved to request two more weeks to determine Schabusiness’ ability to stand trial, the outlet stated. At that point, Schabusiness attacked Jolly and was subsequently wrestled to the ground by a deputy.
After the courtroom was cleared for a few moments, discussions resumed on the rescheduling of the competency hearing, which was moved to March 6 with an expected trial date of May 15.
Schabusiness is being held on a $2 million bond.
