A viral social media video shows an elderly man walking off stage saying he’s a “man of God” after being asked to dance with a drag queen.

The video is from the media company Participant, and was released on Nov. 13, 2019. The show’s producers paired three drag queens with three elderly men, not telling either of them beforehand that they would be challenged to choreograph a dance routine together to Britney Spears’ “Toxic” in 30 minutes. The video has amassed 112,236 views on YouTube as of this writing. A clip from the video shared on Twitter has amassed 2 million views.

“Why don’t we just pair up,” one drag queen says. (RELATED: ‘Beauty Is For Everyone’: Ulta Beauty Doubles Down On Dylan Mulvaney Sponsorship After Backlash)

“I’m not into touching, ok? No touching,” the man, Isaac, says.

“Let’s look at the gentlemen. Gentlemen, you guys can acknowledge us. Ooh, who is this?” the drag queen says as they began practicing the dance routine.

“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I can’t do this,” Isaac interrupts to say, walking off the stage. “I’m a man of God, I can’t do this.”

“You know I love those people, I pray for them, I would never do anything to hurt them or condemn them,” Isaac says later offstage. “But men are not supposed to dress like women. I’m not going to go along with that! It’s time to stand up and be a man of God.”

“Based Christian Grandpa,” one user commented on the video.

“Even if you disagree with him you have to admit that the way he reacted to them was funny as hell,” another user said. “I fucking love sassy old people dude.”
