Maybe it was the Mexican food?

San Francisco Giants pitcher Logan Webb is giving fans an inside look at the true nature of being an MLB player, and yeah, he might have given us too much information — but it was an inside look regardless.

The Giants took a trip down to Mexico City for a two-game series against the San Diego Padres at the end of April. Not only was the trip a disaster for them, it also handed them some health problems.

The Giants ended up getting swept against the Padres. The teams hit a combined 11 home runs in the first game, which almost tied an MLB record. When the smoke cleared, it was San Diego with the 16-11 win. In the second game of the series, the Giants had a late lead going into the eighth before letting three runs against them in the bottom of the inning, ultimately losing 6-4.

But San Fran’s problems didn’t just come on the field. The majority of players on the team are also dealing with stomach problems. Webb revealed the issues while speaking to the press Wednesday. (RELATED: Toronto Blue Jays’ Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Hits 450-Foot Home Run Over Green Monster)

“The whole trip was very grindy, I guess,” said Webb. “It’s been a mental grind. It’s been a physical grind. I think three-quarters of our clubhouse has the shits … It’ll be good to get back home, for sure. Hopefully the shits go away.”

Rough, but hilarious.
